Pricing FAQs

Yes — you select per matter at point of submission. A straightforward single will might be Foundation; a complex estate pack needing dispatch that week might be Managed. There is no requirement to standardise.
A round is a batch of client or consultant-led instruction changes submitted together. Two rounds are included per matter. If the same changes come in one batch, that is one round. We apply this generously.
Scanned or photographed handwritten notes require additional operator time to interpret compared to a structured web form or PDF. The £8 fee covers that extra time. It also incentivises adoption of cleaner intake formats, which means faster turnarounds for you.
We verify administrative details — names, dates, spellings and similar factual items. Any query that touches the substance of a client's instructions — a change to beneficiaries, executor appointments, trust provisions — is referred back to you immediately. We never stray into advice.
For postage beyond the standard dispatch included in the Managed Service — for example, forwarding executed documents to the OPG — we charge exactly what Royal Mail charges us. No markup. Invoiced separately alongside the matter invoice.
Subject to capacity at point of submission. In practice we accommodate most priority requests, but we will always confirm before accepting the surcharge. We never accept the fee and miss the deadline.
